Posted by Natalie Basiratpour Director We are currently working with a systematic hedge fund, looking to expand their investment team in Austria. The position is a Data Engineer, who would work directly with Quantitative Researchers to support their data needs and contribute to the development of their data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Quantitative Researchers to understand their data requirements and provide timely and accurate data solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Optimize and enhance our existing data infrastructure to ensure data reliability, accuracy, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Python, SQL and Docker.
  • 2-5 Years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably within the finance or technology industry.
