We are seeking a Senior SAP Analytics Cloud Consultant to lead the design, development, support and continuous improvement of enterprise reporting and planning solutions.

SAP Analytics Cloud is the primary focus of the role, covering reporting, dashboarding, data visualisation and business planning. The Position also requires practical experience with SAP Datasphere and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics to deliver trusted and high-performing data for SAC.

Key responsibilities
  • Design, develop and support SAC stories, dashboards, analytical applications and models for financial, operational, executive, compliance and KPI reporting.
  • Deliver SAC Planning solutions covering budgets, forecasts, rolling forecasts, planning versions, data actions, multi-actions, advanced formulas, alStandorts, driver-based planning and scenario analysis.
  • Configure and troubleshoot SAC live and acquired-data connections, security, SSO, InA services, content transport and performance.
  • Develop SAP Datasphere analytical models, views, transformation flows and data flows supporting SAC reporting and planning.
  • Develop S/4HANA Embedded Analytics solutions using ABAP CDS views and analytical queries, reusing standard SAP content where appropriate.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for incidents, service requests, problems, changes and minor enhancements, including root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation.
  • Validate and reconcile actual, budget and forecast data against SAP source transactions and approved business totals.
  • Support requirements workshops, testing, releases, production deployment, documentation, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, business stakeholders and SAP functional, BASIS, Security, Integration and ABAP teams.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to solution-design, technical-governance and best-practice reviews.
Qualifications & experience
  • Five or more years of experience in SAP reporting, business intelligence, data warehousing or analytics.
  • Strong recent hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud across reporting and planning.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex SAC stories, dashboards, models and planning applications.
  • Practical experience with planning models, versions, data actions, multi-actions, advanced formulas, alStandorts, forecasting, scenario analysis, security and data locking.
  • Hands-on SAP Datasphere modelling and data-integration experience.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, ABAP CDS views and analytical queries.
  • Strong understanding of Finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, data modelling and reconciliation.
  • Experience supporting SAP production environments in an AMS, ITIL or SLA-driven delivery model.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable experience
  • SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW Bridge.
  • Value Driver Trees, Smart Predict, predictive planning or enterprise-scale SAC implementations.
  • SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Fiori, OData or SAP BTP integration services.
  • Finance, Enterprise Asset Management or Portfolio and Project Management analytics.
  • Relevant SAP Analytics Cloud, SAC Planning or SAP Datasphere certification.
  • Public-sector, utilities or another regulated-industry environment.
