Job Overview NFR Specialist is part of a support team (“NFR Services”) in ING Hubs Manila to help the second line of defense Non-Financial Risk (“NFR”) function to manage the risks associated with people, process, systems etc. The role is focused on delivering services to ING locations that involve data checks, trend analysis, user training, reporting and system gatekeeping. The role is critical to the team in supporting the Leads to manage the day-to-day operations and optimizing resources to expand the scope of work and add more value to stakeholders. NFR Services team is administered locally in ING Hubs Manila under Risk, Compliance and Control Hub Organization and functionally steered by Global NFR in The Netherlands. NFR Specialist will be interacting mainly with local NFR managers in ING branches and users of NFR system. Key Responsibilities NFR Specialist will be expected to perform a combination of the following activities (as service to NFR Managers and NFR system users across ING locations): Incident (Events) Reporting - involved in monitoring reporting of events by businesses and ensuring data is sufficient for further assessment of Non-Financial Risk Managers Issue and Action Tracking - involved in registration and amendment of findings (issues) in iRisk, monitoring status and escalating issue data for further assessment of Non-Financial Risk Managers Key Risk Indicator (KRI) Reporting - coordinate the regular reporting of KRI data and validating details and supporting documents provided by the business NFR Information Pack - prepare and provide monthly and quarterly NFR dashboard reports for each branch / location Management of NFR system - ensure accuracy and completeness of risk data stored in the risk system. As needed by ING NFR system users, perform user access management activities, provide training to end users, answer queries, validate or map risk data and objects, make bulk data amendments, setting up or data structure for countries or cleaning up data for control frameworks. Regulatory event reporting - system generation, analysis and reporting of non-financial risk events and related information necessary for internal business use and European Central Bank purposes Maintenance of tools and documentations used in the above processes including capturing, analyzing and executing changes related to them In line with delivering the services, NFR Specialist will collaborate with a dynamic team of 15 people and internal and external stakeholders on the following operational activities: Facilitate discussions with stakeholders Conduct internal quality checks Perform root cause analysis and address service delivery issues Organize, coordinate and document projects within the team or a wider group Guide more junior or less tenured colleagues Gather, analyze and visualize data needed for business or management decision making Any other responsibility essential to the functioning of the team, department or ING as discussed and agreed with the Leads Key Capabilities/Experience Highly interested to grow career in Non-Financial Risk management Has worked in a bank doing functions like reporting, application support, risk management or a combination of these Tech savvy - experience in creating or using tools like PowerBI, Cognos or SAS Knows how to capture, document and execute process and system changes Has worked with global teams and able to present to senior stakeholders Minimum Qualifications At least 5 years total work experience in banking At least 2 years of doing reporting using SAS and able to troubleshoot hard-coded programs Willing to do both reporting and system user support activities Formal training in SAS scripting is an advantage Having a Business analyst background is an advantage Knows to interpret, visualize and present data for a large or international audience With strong communication and organization skills What do we offer?
