Job Title: Calibration Engineer

Location: Bintan, Indonesia

Direct Manager: Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the implementation of a quality management system in the laboratory.
• Develop and implement testing and/or calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirement.
• Follow up on the issue from the laboratory technician and discussed it with the laboratory supervisor.
• Review working instructions and supported documents periodically.
• Verify calibration result/report.
• Lead, guide, train and develop technicians to ensure the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties well.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained/calibrated properly.
• Identify potential problems which could jeopardize the quality management system.
• Initiate actions to avoid violation of the quality management system.
• Responsible as a technical supervisor in charge when the laboratory supervisor is in absence.
• Validation method and result, intermediate check, uncertainty calculation.
• Liaise with Purchaser for purchasing instrument or calibration.
• Liaise with Customer Service Inside Sales for customer relation.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering preferably specialized in certification or other related fields.
• Minimum 1 (one) year of work experience in calibration activity.
• Familiar with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 will be an advantage.
• Good attitude and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
