AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for a Senior Manager Global Medical Compliance (f/m/d).

In this role, you will focus on ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across global markets as part of the Global Medical Affairs Team. Collaborating closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Legal, you will safeguard that systems, scientific and promotional communications, and company activities align with international laws, industry standards, and company policies. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Quality team to support the implementation of relevant SOPs implementation as well as with Medical Information to contribute to the continuous upgrade of the service offered.

• Oversee the review, approval, and monitoring of medical information materials, ensuring alignment with regulatory and ethical standards
• Develop and implement compliance processes for medical content, including promotional and non-promotional materials, across global and regional markets
• Ensure compliance with industry codes (e.g., EFPIA, PhRMA, IFPMA) and local regulations regarding medical and scientific communications
• Provide expertise and guidance to Medical Affairs, Marketing, legal and Quality and other cross-functional teams on document content compliance
• Act as a gatekeeper for scientific communication, ensuring all publications, presentations, and digital materials are accurate, balanced, and compliant
• Conduct training programs for internal teams to build awareness and knowledge of compliance standards in scientific (promotional and non promotional) communications
• Monitor and assess evolving regulations, providing updates and recommendations to ensure ongoing compliance
• Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and commercial teams to address compliance challenges and provide strategic solutions
• Serve as a key contact for compliance-related inquiries concerning medical content and information.

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in medical compliance, with a focus on reviewing and approving scientific (promotional and non-promotional) materials in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Strong understanding of global and regional compliance regulations related to scientific communications and medical information (e.g., promotional material, digital media, publications)
• Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining a collaborative approach
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to ethical practices.
