Das Mandarin Oriental, Wien wird in einem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude untergebracht und über 138 Gästezimmer und Suiten verfügen, die sich um einen Innenhof im Zentrum des Anwesens gruppieren. Assistant Chief Steward (m/f/d)

Als Assistant Chief Steward werden Sie verantwortlich für folgenden Aufgaben sein:

• Unterstützung bei der Leitung des Stewarding-Teams, einschließlich Dienstplangestaltung, Schulung, Coaching und Einbindung des Teams
• Mitverantwortung für die Kontrolle der Sauberkeit unter Einhaltung der Hygienestandards im Stewarding-, Küchen- und Backoffice-Bereich
• Unterstützung bei der Pflege und Lagerung von Porzellan, Glas, Besteck und Küchengeschirr
• Mitwirkung an der Reinigung der gesamten Küchenausstattung, Geräte, Fußböden und Wände
• Überwachung der Abfallentsorgung gemäß den betrieblichen Richtlinien
• Kontrolle und sachgemäße Anwendung sowie Pflege der bereitgestellten Maschinen und Geräte

Als Assistant Chief Steward erwarten wir von Ihnen:

• Eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der Hotellerie oder Gastronomie sowie vorzugsweise mehrjährige Erfahrung im Stewarding- oder Küchenbereich

Mandarin Oriental, Vienna will be housed in a heritage building and comprise 138 guestrooms and suites surrounding a courtyard in the centre of the property, incorporating a restaurant, bar and outdoor garden. The property will also house a Spa at Mandarin Oriental featuring a series of treatment rooms, a swimming pool and a well-equipped fitness centre. A range of adaptable banqueting and meeting spaces will be available for events and social occasions.

The 24 Residences at Mandarin Oriental will be located on the top two floors of the building and will have private access to the roof, with several of the apartments offering outdoor terraces and stunning citywide views. These will be some of the most exclusive apartments in the city, with owners enjoying Mandarin Orientals legendary service and direct access to the hotels facilities.

Assistant Chief Steward (m/f/d)

As Assistant Chief Steward, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Assisting in the management of the stewarding team, including scheduling, training, coaching, and engaging the team.

• Co-responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards in the stewarding, kitchen, and back-office areas.

• Supporting the care and storage of porcelain, glassware, cutlery, and kitchenware.

• Contributing to the cleaning of all kitchen equipment, devices, floors, and walls.

• Overseeing waste disposal according to operational guidelines.

• Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of the provided machines and equipment.

As Assistant Chief Steward, we expect from you:

• Completed vocational training in hospitality or gastronomy, preferably with several years of experience in stewarding or the kitchen department.

• A strong service orientation and the ability to work independently, efficiently, and in an organized manner.

• A high level of quality awareness and organizational talent.

• Flexibility, as the position includes weekend and holiday shifts.

• Excellent manners, a well-groomed appearance, and a positive demeanor.

The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2,398.00. The willingness to offer a higher salary for this position is given, depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
