I am hiring a Senior SOC Consultant on behalf of a dynamic cybersecurity firm specializing in advanced threat detection, incident response, and security operations. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the company safeguards critical infrastructures and digital assets for clients across diverse industries. Their Security Operations Center (SOC) team is at the forefront of mitigating cyber risks, ensuring 24/7 protection. The company values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth, providing an engaging environment for cybersecurity professionals to address evolving security challenges. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Development and implementation of cyber security solutions
• Working with SIEM and EDR tools
• Client consultation
• Organisation and management of defensive security processes
• Coordination of incident response process

This role is onsite in Vienna, Austria Essential:

• Professional experience in defensive security
• Extensive experience with SIEM tools and network/firewall technology
• Project management experience
• Strong understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills - a good team player
• Fluent written and verbal English

Desirable:

• Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science or Cyber Security
• Relevant certifications from entities such as GIAC and SANS.
