Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new role:

• Drive technology development for trapped-ion quantum processors, with focus scaling towards very large chips
• Co-develop the next generations of QPUs with our commercial partners
• Enable the research community through projects with academic partners
• Supervise master and PhD students

Your ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeed:

• Have a PhD in physics, quantum engineering, computational physics or similar
• Bring more than five years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quantum optics, and/or (trapped-ion) quantum computing
• Be a highly motivated individual who wants quantum computing to become a reality
• Be fluent in English, German skills or the willingness to learn is a plus

The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H ). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
