We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, sub-systems, and solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

  • Develop and manage complex electrical systems, applying engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and modify custom system components.
  • Contribute to research and development efforts by analyzing data to improve electrical system designs.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to communicate design intent, analysis, and results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership experience and ability to guide and manage a team of engineers.
  • Hands-on experience in electric machinery and equipment engineering, signal and controls theory, and associated electrical cabinet design.
  • Understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems.
  • Excellent working knowledge in high and low voltage power distribution systems.
  • Proven knowledge in controls engineering design using PLC, IO-controllers, and servo drive technology.
  • Expertise in application of power and controls technologies for systems automation.
  • Knowledgeable in CAD/CAE tools for electrical design and simulation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to define functional requirements and execute in a dynamic team environment.
  • Familiarity with design for serviceability, manufacturability, and reliability.
  • Highly proficient at troubleshooting systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting with problem-solving techniques such as 5-why, 8D, and fishbones.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including technical presentations.
  • Experience in semiconductor industry or related fields.
