National General Manager – Restoration Services

A well-established national restoration business is seeking an experienced National General Manager to lead operations, growth, and strategic performance across Australien.

Backed by a broader national group, this business has built a strong reputation within the insurance building & restoration industry for delivering high-quality restoration outcomes and responsive service. With continued growth planned, the organisation is looking for a commercially minded leader who can drive performance, build capability, and strengthen market presence nationally.

This role is suited to an experienced senior leader from the restoration services sector who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the executive leadership team, the National General Manager will be responsible for overseeing national operations, strategic growth initiatives, financial performance, and team leadership across multiple regions.

You will play a key role in shaping business strategy, improving operational performance, strengthening culture, and leading a high‑performing national team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead national operations across restoration and related service divisions
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with group objectives
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and growth initiatives
  • Drive revenue growth and national performance outcomes
  • Oversee operational delivery, profitability, margins, and board reporting
  • Build and lead high-performing teams across operations, sales, and support functions
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, reporting frameworks, and business performance metrics
  • Strengthen brand Positioning, market presence, and client engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on communication, integration, and business initiatives
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture across the business
About You
  • Proven senior leadership experience within the restoration and/or insurance building industry
  • Strong commercial and operational management capability
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site or national teams
  • Experience driving business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic outcomes
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget, margin, and performance management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead change, influence culture, and develop teams
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on leadership style
