The position

It is an exciting time to become part of the Pharma Team of IMCD South East Europe! With our various segments, we cover the entire range of raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry and are now looking for reinforcement for our distribution of APIs and synthesis ingredients.

In the API and Synthesis team, you will be part of a growing and dynamic segment of IMCD, which makes an important contribution to the development and manufacture of medicines as a supplier of active pharmaceutical and synthesis ingredients. As a BDM API and Synthesis, you will have the opportunity to independently manage, develop and design your sales territory and will be responsible for supporting our existing customer base and expanding it. You will work closely with our customers as a direct contact and will be supported by our global API and Synthesis team, our technical team. Become part of this interesting and exciting business field! Main tasks and responsibilities

• Support and further development of the active ingredient business with existing customers
• Responsibility for the expansion of the customer base for active pharmaceutical and synthesis ingredients in SEE and further development of business relationships
• Use and identification of cross-selling potentials within the pharma portfolio
• Market analysis of customer, product and application markets to identify new business opportunities
• Report maintenance and documentation in the CRM system (Salesforce) as well as creation and submission of offers
• Close collaboration with country Sales Managers
• Participation in European trade fairs and regular travel

Competencies and Requirements

• Business studies or comparable training
• Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and its market participants, as well as the willingness to familiarize yourself intensively with the specific peculiarities of the distribution of APIs and synthesis ingredients
• The ability to identify customer needs and build long-term customer relationships
• Long-term and goal-oriented work, with independent prioritization
• Willingness to work closely internally with team spirit and open communication
• Enjoyment of high levels of travel within SEE
• Fluent in written and spoken English
