General Manager – Caboolture Sports Foundation Organisations
Caboolture Sports Clubs is seeking an experienced leader who is a strategic thinker to join our team as General Manager – Caboolture Sports Foundation Organisations (GM-CSFO).
This key leadership role ensures the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the Foundation Organisations. The GM - CSFO will develop and implement strategic initiatives, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Sports Development Manager, committees, employees, players, fans and community partners while driving the success of the Foundation Organisations both on and off the field.
About the Role
As GM-CSFO you will provide leadership across multiple Foundation Organisations, ensuring strong governance, operational excellence, and positive community impact. You will know how to get the best out of team, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, volunteers, sponsors, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and development of the Foundation Organisations
Build strong relationships with club committees, sponsors, community organisations and governing bodies
Represent the Foundation Organisations at community, media and stakeholder events
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, governance frameworks and WHS requirements
About You
You are a motivated, strategic leader with strong operational experience. You are passionate about community sport and have the ability to bring together our team, volunteers and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
You will bring
Proven leadership experience
Strong financial management and budgeting capability including solid business planning experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience of working with Government officials at all levels would be highly regarded
Experience working with clubs, community organisations or sporting environments (highly regarded)
The ability to manage multiple priorities and drive organisational growth
Qualifications & Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Business/Leadership, Sports Management or related discipline (preferred)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Blue Card
Current Driver’s Licence
RSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to obtain a satisfactory Police Check
