Our Daily Banking Experience department, responsible for parts of the customers journey, is searching an experienced Agile Delivery Manager.
What to do:
Delivery Management
Manage the delivery of products/solutions within Erste Digital from idea through development and testing to production.
Preparing backlogs for Quarterly Planning sessions alongside Product Owners and Topic Owners.
Ensure that local delivery plans and deliveries are aligned with overarching plans and company strategy.
End-to-End responsibility for efficient delivery of committed releases.
Monitor the local UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase and communicate relevant bugs to Product Owners.
Remove obstacles in the delivery process and promote continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Stakeholder and Resource Management
Support the Business/Product Owner in defining timelines and priorities.
Act as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for external partners and stakeholders (e.g., External Test Center, Delivery units).
Manage resources in alignment with the Head of Department.
Manage escalations and issues, keeping customers and managers informed of status and action plans.
Collaboration and Communication
Facilitate communication between teams.
Steer and coordinate agile delivery processes across multiple teams.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Delivery Manager and Architects to align on overarching IT strategies.
Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and plan accordingly.

Core Competencies
In-depth knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
Experience in facilitating large meetings and workshops.
Proven track record of close collaboration with Product Owners and technical teams.
Fluent in German and English.
Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for managing the software development lifecycle.
Experience and Leadership
Several years of experience in Agile Delivery Management, preferably in banking or fintech.
Strong leadership abilities, including lateral leadership.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and promotion of DevSecOps practices.
Proficient in agile plannings and agile methodologies including large corporates.
Mindset and Approach:
Strong end-to-end thinking, with a solution-oriented approach and a focus on Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development.
Strong customer journey approach, always putting the customer at the center of decisions.
Ability to support Product Owners in maintaining a tidy backlog and ensuring smooth workflow for delivery teams.
Ensures that team efforts are aligned with company strategy and deliver value.
Maintains a pragmatic approach, leading teams to successful task completion.
Exceptional mediation skills and a diplomatic approach to dealing with contradicting opinions.

A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 74144,- gross per year.
