Accounts Receivable Clerk - Leading UK EV Company
Location: Hybrid Durban
Salary: Contract Role R20-30k
Job Type: Contract. A leading UK electric vehicle (EV) company is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Salesforce, particularly creating sales orders and invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage sales orders and invoices using Salesforce
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure timely collections
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up to ensure on-time collections
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate customer financial records
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Accounting Degree / Saipa or Cima
- Strong experience with Salesforce, specifically in creating and managing invoices and sales orders
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teams
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software
