Quality Manager Location: Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to monitor and evaluate quality performance across the project. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are being met throughout the project lifecycle. Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, quality reports, and corrective action reports. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), investigating any quality issues and coordinating corrective actions. Provide leadership and training to project staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of quality assurance activities and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that materials and products meet project quality specifications. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Monitor and track quality-related metrics, and generate reports for management and stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in a project-based environment. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to identify, manage, and resolve quality-related issues efficiently. Candidates based in Richards Bay or surrounding areas are highly preferred. Education & Experience: Matric/Grade 12 (essential). Relevant qualification in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (Degree or Diploma) is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record in overseeing quality assurance in large projects. Experience in the manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors is highly advantageous. Additional Information: Immediate start preferred. On-site position for the duration of the project.
