Cleaner / Storeman

Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the site, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and storage rooms. Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash. Assist in the organization and management of materials, equipment, and supplies in the store area. Ensure that all items in the store are properly labeled, sorted, and stored according to safety and inventory standards. Keep track of stock levels, ensuring that necessary materials and supplies are readily available. Prepare and issue materials as requested by the site team, ensuring proper documentation of materials being issued or returned. Maintain the cleanliness of the storage area and ensure that all tools and materials are organized and easy to access. Assist with the delivery and collection of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss. Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations on-site. Report any maintenance or cleaning issues to the relevant supervisor or manager. Requirements: Proven experience as a cleaner, storeman, or in a similar role, preferably in a construction, industrial, or project-based environment. Basic understanding of inventory control and storage procedures. Good organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials and equipment as needed. Ability to work safely and adhere to health and safety regulations on-site. Candidates based in Richards Bay or the surrounding areas are preferred. Education & Experience: Matric/Grade 12 (essential). Previous experience in cleaning and/or storekeeping is preferred. Additional Information: Immediate start preferred. On-site position for the duration of the project. Competitive salary based on experience. Between 1 - 3 Years
