Payroll Accountant

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Payroll Accountant to become a key player in our Polish team. If youre a Payroll Accountant and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

Location: Poland/Warszawa Working Model: Our flexible work arrangement combines both remote and in-office work, optimizing flexibility and productivity.

This position will be part of Sapiens Corporate division.

What youll do:

• Collecting and verifying payroll data for processing by an external service provider (Poland and Baltic states are in scope)
• Assisting in managing employee benefits that impact payroll (life insurance, employee benefits, pension funds, medical care)
• Supporting processes related to maternity leaves, absences, and holidays
• Reviewing payroll-related data for new joiners and employee changes before submission to the external provider
• Supporting statutory reporting related to payroll (Tax and other authorities)
• Cooperating with payroll service providers in payroll-related matters
• Performing administrative payroll tasks and ensuring payroll documentation is up to date
• Assisting in basic accounting tasks related to payroll

What to Have for this position

• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll team or accounting with payroll responsibilities
• Basic understanding of payroll processes and labor law regulations in Poland (PIT, Social Security)
• Experience working in an international environment is an advantage
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
