Position Overview:

We are seeking a Global Channel Sales & Partnerships Manager to spearhead the identification, onboarding, and development of an international reseller network for our hardware and software products. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong reseller relationships, negotiating contracts, establishing go-to-market programs, and managing ongoing channel activities. Success in this position requires a blend of sales acumen, technical understanding (ideally in metrology hardware or architectural drafting), and strong relationship-building skills. This role requires the ability to travelinternationally for trade shows (EU/USA), not to exceed 30% of calendar days within any given 12-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

Reseller Identification & Outreach

  • Research and identify potential international reseller partners in international target markets.
  • Initiate contact, deliver product demonstrations, and tailor value propositions to recruit new resellers.
  • Develop convincing pitches and presentations to showcase the hardware, software, and service solutions.

Reseller Onboarding & Contract Negotiation

  • Create and implement reseller programs, including clear qualification criteria and success metrics.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize reseller contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Work with internal teams like Marketing and CS to support Reseller onboarding and sell through.

Channel Management & Program Development

  • Develop comprehensive channel strategies, including sales enablement programs, marketing campaigns, and training materials for reseller sales teams.
  • Provide ongoing education and support to resellers to ensure thorough understanding of new and existing product features, sales techniques, and market positioning.
  • Coordinate and advocate for sales needs with internal teams to translate and localize marketing and sales assets for different regions.

Performance Tracking & Relationship Building

  • Track and analyze reseller performance metrics, sales pipelines, and revenue contributions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with resellers to identify growth opportunities, address challenges, and optimize sales results.
  • Maintain proactive communication to foster strong long-term partnerships.

New Channel & Partnership Development

  • Identify and develop additional channels of business, including strategic partnerships that can expand market reach.
  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to propose new partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, R&D) to drive product enhancements that align with channel feedback.

Technical & Market Expertise

  • Ideally, possess knowledge of metrology hardware or architectural drafting to demonstrate product value more effectively.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technology to advise partners on evolving market conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or partnership management (preferably in a global or multi-regional capacity).

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with metrology, measurement devices, or architectural design/drafting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate complex hardware products.

Sales & Negotiation Skills

  • Proven success in structuring and closing partnership deals, including contract negotiation.
  • Strong presentation abilities to effectively communicate value propositions to diverse audiences.

Relationship Management

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain trust with reseller partners.
  • Proactive problem-solver who can balance partner needs with company objectives.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking

  • Track record of leveraging data to measure, report, and improve partner performance.
  • Strategic mindset to identify and pursue new market opportunities.

Organizational Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, proposals, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate marketing campaigns, reseller training, and product launches.
