The Maritime Operations Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the relationship with potential and current local and international maritime clients (Vessel Owners and Agents), by ensuring that our service offerings meet their vessel needs and our service/product has been delivered within the allocated timeframe and budget.
- Conduct cold calling of vessel owners whose ships are scheduled to dock at RSA ports to offer our agency services.
- Maintain relationship with existing international clients that we offer agency services to, by keeping updated with their vessel requirements, port activity and ensuring all queries are handled within the required timeframe.
- Compile costings for all agency projects.
- Have an excellent understanding of ship chandling services.
Requirements:
- Matric with a Bachelors Pass
- Understanding Shipping Certificate
- Freight Forwarding and Customs Level 3 & 4
- Microsoft Package - Intermediate Level
- Drivers Licence - Code 08
