Its a big challenge, but BCGs business transformation consultants can help clients put the odds in their favor. In addition, our special situation services help companies focus on managing their liquidity and capital. The goal? To strengthen their balance sheets, boost cash flows, and transition out of survival mode.

What Youll Do

As a generalist Consultant affiliated to BCG Transform practice, you will be working alongside some of the worlds top minds in the industry. You will work hand in hand with the decision makers of our client company, having a real seat at the table. Through your project you will accompany companies from a variety of sectors and industries through decisive changes around the globe. The majority of your time will be spent as part of the BCG Transform team composed of members of different backgrounds collaborating intensively and building a long-term relation with our client.

You will also dedicate time to further develop and deepen BCGs expertise in restructuring and turnaround, as well as supporting BCG Partners in business development initiatives. On a day to day basis this will translate in:

• Contribute to BCG Transforms growth in operational and financial restructuring through active case work, client relations, and creating valuable IP and products.
• Offer expertise in turnaround projects across various industries, emphasizing operational restructuring and immediate performance boosts.
• Analyze financials to assess situations and formulate quick action plans.
• Identify key immediate improvements and advocate for their adoption with company leaders.
• Collaborate with BCG and client teams, sharing knowledge both internally and on client sites.
• Engage in business growth activities through client interactions and participation in industry events.

What Youll Bring

• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in turnaround and restructuring topics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Consulting Experience: Experience working with clients across various industries, helping them tackle their most difficult challenges and create sustainable value.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings and interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent oral and written language skills: German and English
