About the role As our Senior Strategy Manager / PMO Lead, you will play a vital role in driving the success of strategic projects and initiatives. Collaborating closely with the C-level team, you will oversee our Project Management Office (PMO) and support effective decision-making. Your role will be key in uniting teams across the organization, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful outcomes. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in strategy consulting and the SaaS industry is highly desirable. The preferred location for this role is Austria, with the possibility of working remotely. What youll do Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Lead and optimize the newly established Project Management Office, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks and tools for efficient project execution.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates and performance metrics to the leadership team, ensuring transparency.
  • Address strategic dependencies, risks, challenges, and actions, facilitating clear communication among stakeholders.
  • Monitor project capacity and ensure optimal allocation of resources across the portfolio.
  • Encourage a collaborative project management approach across the organization through training and development initiatives.
Strategy Development and Execution
  • Partner with C-level executives, offering support on strategy development and execution of key initiatives.
  • Help translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps and assist in prioritizing initiatives.
  • Support decision-making processes with senior leaders, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Potentially assist with M&A activities, including screening, due diligence, and integration planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic initiatives, maintaining focus on company priorities.
We are looking for someone with
  • Experience in project management, strategy, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment like consulting, venture capital, or a high-growth company.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English.

  • A degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to apply them effectively across various projects.
  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams (non-direct reports).
  • International experience is a plus.
