Das Mandarin Oriental, Wien wird in einem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude untergebracht und über 138 Gästezimmer und Suiten verfügen, die sich um einen Innenhof im Zentrum des Anwesens gruppieren. Es wird ein Restaurant, eine Bar und einen Außenbereich mit Garten umfassen. Darüber hinaus wird das Anwesen ein Spa im Mandarin Oriental bieten, das mehrere Behandlungsräume, einen Swimmingpool und ein gut ausgestattetes Fitnesscenter umfasst. Für Veranstaltungen und gesellschaftliche Anlässe stehen zudem verschiedene flexibel gestaltbare Bankett- und Tagungsräume zur Verfügung.

Die 24 Residenzen im Mandarin Oriental werden sich in den beiden obersten Stockwerken des Gebäudes befinden und über einen privaten Zugang zum Dach verfügen. Mehrere der Apartments bieten Außen-Terrassen und atemberaubende Ausblicke über die Stadt. Diese gehören zu den exklusivsten Wohnungen der Stadt, wobei die Eigentümer den legendären Service des Mandarin Oriental und den direkten Zugang zu den Hoteleinrichtungen genießen werden.

Wir suchen einen Asst. Director of Spa für unser Pre-Opening Team im Mandarin Oriental, Vienna.

Assistant Spa Director (m/f/d)

Als Assistant Spa Director werden Sie verantwortlich für folgenden Aufgaben sein:

• Unterstützung bei der Eröffnung des Spa- und Fitnessbereichs im Mandarin Oriental, Wien
• Mitwirkung an der Entwicklung und Implementierung strategischer Initiativen zur Sicherstellung der finanziellen und geschäftlichen Leistung des Spa
• Sicherstellung einer hohen Kundenzufriedenheit durch außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft und Serviceleistungen
• Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung des Spa-Marketingplans sowie der zugehörigen Aktivitäten in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Marketingdirektor und Verantwortung für die Umsetzung des Plans
• Mitwirkung bei der Rekrutierung, Einführung, Weiterbildung, Beurteilung und Disziplinierung der Spa-Mitarbeiter
• Sicherstellung, dass alle Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsrichtlinien sowie Verfahren im Einklang mit dem Safe and Sound Manual umgesetzt werden

Als Assistant Spa Director erwarten wir von Ihnen:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Hotelmanagement, Wellnessmanagement oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
• Mindestens 2 bis 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer Führungsposition im Spa- oder Wellnessbereich, idealerweise in der Hotellerie
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Führung von Teams und der Optimierung von Arbeitsabläufen
• Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten in der Kundenbetreuung und im Umgang mit anspruchsvollen Gästen
• Erfahrung in der Budgetplanung und -kontrolle sowie in der Umsetzung von Verkaufsstrategien von Vorteil
• Hohe Affinität zu Wellness-, Gesundheits- und Beautydienstleistungen
• Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch, weitere Sprachen von Vorteil
• Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Gesundheitsschutz, Hygiene und Sicherheit im Spa-Bereich
• Teamorientierung, Flexibilität und die Fähigkeit, auch in stressigen Situationen einen klaren Kopf zu bewahren
• Selbständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie hohes Engagement und Motivation

Mandarin Oriental, Vienna will be housed in a heritage building and comprise 138 guestrooms and suites surrounding a courtyard in the centre of the property, incorporating a restaurant, bar and outdoor garden. The property will also house a Spa at Mandarin Oriental featuring a series of treatment rooms, a swimming pool and a well-equipped fitness centre. A range of adaptable banqueting and meeting spaces will be available for events and social occasions.

The 24 Residences at Mandarin Oriental will be located on the top two floors of the building and will have private access to the roof, with several of the apartments offering outdoor terraces and stunning citywide views. We are looking for an Assistant Director of Spa for our Pre-Opening Team at Mandarin Oriental, Vienna.

Assistant Spa Director (m/f/d)

As Assistant Spa Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Assisting with the opening of the Spa and Fitness area at Mandarin Oriental, Vienna.

• Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to ensure the financial and business performance of the Spa.

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional hospitality and service.

• Supporting the development of the Spa marketing plan and related activities in collaboration with the Director of Marketing, and taking responsibility for executing the plan.

• Assisting in the recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluation, and discipline of Spa employees.

• Ensuring that all health and safety guidelines and procedures are implemented in accordance with the Safe and Sound Manual.

As Assistant Spa Director, we expect from you:

• Completed degree in Hotel Management, Wellness Management, or a comparable qualification.

• At least 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a leadership position within the Spa or Wellness industry, ideally in hospitality.

• Strong knowledge in team management and optimizing workflows.

• Excellent customer service skills and experience in handling demanding guests.

• Experience in budget planning and control, as well as the implementation of sales strategies is a plus. • Strong affinity for wellness, health, and beauty services.

• Excellent communication skills in German and English, additional languages are a plus.

• Knowledge of health protection, hygiene, and safety regulations in the Spa area.

• Team-oriented, flexible, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

• Independent and solution-oriented working style with high commitment and motivation.

• Willingness to pursue continuous education and development within the company.

The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2,398.00. The willingness to offer a higher salary for this position is given, depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
