Join the Validation Lighthouse team, where we validate various retail credit risk models, including regulatory and business-driven models, setting and maintaining high standards in model validation and contributing to RBIs model governance. Be part of our diverse team of experts dedicated to enhancing the quality of retail risk models, ensuring compliance, and shaping the future of banking across Austria and 12 CEE countries.

• You will be responsible for initial and regular validations of all models of selected CEE countries and for the supervision of the validation condition fulfilment
• You will contribute to the update and maintenance of the Validation Concepts
• You will support the related strategic projects and activities in the RBI Group

• You have University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics or in a comparable field with strong quantitative focus
• You have multiple years of experience in risk management of a bank, financial institution or consultancy company, thereof proven practical experience with credit risk model validation or development, preferably in an IRB-compliant institution
• You have excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills as well as soft skills to be able to clearly communicate to senior management or regulatory authorities
• You have substantial knowledge of CRR, IFRS 9 and related regulatory requirements; experience in translating those into local standards is a plus
• You are willing to occasionally travel within CEE, able to speak with different level of management and regulatory authorities
• You are open to changes, willing to work in agile set-up that is currently being shaped
• You are fluent in English
