Department Description:

As an intern in our QA department, you will help us to provide the most accurate picture of the quality of the product. This internship has a special focus on accessibility requirements to provide the best George solution for all of your customers. This is no coffee-run position, as your scope of work will include the following tasks: testing George features specifically on accessibility requirements including testing with screen readers, checking for proper colours and contrast, easy understanding of texts, etc. You will be testing on different mobile devices, to make sure that both Android and iOS apps are ready to ship but also testing our Web application.

• You have a natural confidence with your communication skills and you dont have fear to state your constructive criticism

• You have a strong interest to make George more accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including accommodations for blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and a combination of these

• You respectfully challenge your colleagues and being challenged in return is welcomed by you

• You are passionate about learning, and want to help others learn too

• You feel confident to work on your own

• We offer you a varied part-time internship position (20-30h/week) for 12 months. An internship salary of EUR 3.175,- gross per month (on a full-time basis) is offered.
