3fold Resources is seeking an experienced Head of Warehouse & Logistics to lead our warehouse, picking, packing, dispatch and logistics function.

This is a senior operational leadership role focused on delivering performance, strengthening accountability and running a structured, efficient and scalable warehouse operation.

You will take ownership of a critical function within the business and work closely with sales, project delivery, procurement and finance to ensure planning translates into reliable execution.

We support retail and commercial projects through manufacture, warehousing, logistics, and site installation. Our warehouse and logistics function is central to delivering projects on time, in full and to a high standard.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the GM, you will take full ownership of the Warehouse & Logistics cost centre, including operational performance, labour utilisation, safety, systems, team capability, budget and reliable execution across receiving, stock movement, picking, packing, dispatch, loading and transport coordination.

This role sits at the centre of project delivery and requires a leader who can connect planning with execution, manage competing priorities, lift performance and drive practical improvement.

You will have the autonomy to assess the current operation, engage with the team, identify opportunities and implement changes that improve efficiency, accuracy, visibility and delivery reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Own operational performance across productivity, accuracy, labour utilisation, dispatch reliability and delivery execution
Ensure project requirements are translated into clear warehouse and logistics priorities
Drive efficient pick/pack workflows, order readiness and dispatch performance
Lead and develop the warehouse and logistics team
Identify and implement practical improvements across workflow, layout, labour planning, systems and process
Maintain strong safety, compliance and cost discipline across the function
Contribute to budgeting, KPI reporting, labour planning and operational performance reviews

DIFOT and inventory accuracy measurements
Improved pick/pack productivity, accuracy and workflow
Stronger labour efficiency, cost visibility and operational control
Better use of systems, reporting and digital workflow tools
A more capable, accountable and aligned warehouse and logistics team
Measurable improvements that increase capacity, reduce waste and support business growth

About You

You are an experienced warehouse, logistics, distribution or operational leader with a track record of delivering results in fast-moving environments.

A minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution or operational environments is essential for this role.

You are commercially aware, execution-focused and comfortable operating with autonomy. You know how to assess an operation, prioritise what matters, build momentum and deliver measurable improvement.

You will bring:

Proven leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, 3PL, construction supply or a similar operational environment
Strong understanding of picking, packing, dispatch, stock movement and logistics execution
Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, accuracy, service levels and operating performance
Experience leading teams, developing capability and building accountability
Experience leading teams of 10-20 people with a focus on developing capability and building accountability
Experience with ERP, WMS, inventory, reporting or workflow systems
Commercial awareness across labour efficiency, cost control and operational performance
Practical, structured and outcome-focused leadership style
